a.       Present tense (kejadian hari ini)

Ø  Formula :                   

·         s + to be ( is, am, are ) +…….( bentuk nominal / kata benda )

·         S + verb 1 + (s / es ) +……..( bentuk verbal / kt kerja )

Contoh- contohnya :

a.       She is very beautiful ( nominal )

b.      She cuts a trunk ( verbal )

a.       You are okay ( nominal )

b.      You walk very slowly ( verbal )

a.       It is so far ( nominal )

b.      It runs very fast ( verbal )                

Tanda waktu yang digunakan dalam simple present tense adalah :

·         Always ( selalu )

·         Generally ( umumnya )

·         Usually ( biasanya )

·         Often ( sering )

·         Every ….+ day, week, month, years, morning, night.

·         Seldom

·         Atnight

·         Never

·         Once….+

b.      Present continuous tense

Ø  Formula :

·         S + to be ( is,am, are ) + verb 1 + ing +……(verbal / kt kerja )

Contoh-contohnya:

a.       I am writing a letter for my parents in Kalimantan now

b.      She is walking with her boyfriend now

c.       It is jumping from that trees right now

d.      They are fighting another one so make them grabbed by police

e.      You are styuding when I bathing

·         Right now

·         Today

·         Soon

·         This morning

c.       Present perfect tense

Ø  Formula :

·         S + Have/ has + been + ……( bentuk nominal / kt benda )

·         S + have / has + verb III + …..

Contoh-contohnya:

a.       I have been here waiting for you ( nominal )

b.      I have studied for five hours

c.       It has been a long tail ( nominal )
